This is the first step in the application process where you have the opportunity to tell us all about yourself.

*It is advisable for you to complete this in one sitting and it should take you no longer than 45 minutes.

Online Assessment

Our assessments are unique to AIP and helps us determine if the programme is a good fit for you.

*Only shortlisted applicants will be contacted for this stage via email in approximately 15 working days.

**It is advisable that you allocate 1 hour to complete the assessment in a distraction-free environment.

Interview

This is the final stage of the application process. We'd like to get to know you better and give you a chance to ask us questions.

1What is Axiata Internship Programme (AIP)?

AIP is an internship programme that aims to develop young Malaysian students to go through on-the-job experience coupled with essential and leadership skills development throughout the internship placement.

2Is Axiata Internship Programme a form of employment?

No, it is not a form of employment.

3Will interns be bonded to Axiata Group Berhad upon completion of the programme?

No, interns will not be bonded to Axiata Group Berhad upon completion of the programme.

4Will interns gain a permanent placement within the Axiata Group of Companies upon completion of the programme?

Upon successful completion of AIP, interns will not gain any permanent placement within the Axiata Group of Companies. However, they could apply for Axiata Graduate Programme (AGP) to become management trainees which offers permanent placement upon completion.

5When will each intake of the begin?

Intake is open throughout the year.

6What are benefits of joining the programme?

1Can applications be submitted via email?

No, applications submitted via email will not be accepted.

2When is the deadline to apply for programme?

The application cycle for the programme is open year-round.

3What is the average application processing time?

It will take approximately 21 business days to complete the full selection process. However, please note that this process may be longer during off-peak hiring periods.

4Can I edit my application once I have submitted it?

It is not advisable for you to request to edit your application once submitted. As such, please confirm that all information provided is accurate and complete before submitting your application.

5Can I retake the Online Assessment?

To protect the validity and integrity of the assessment data, retakes within a 12-month duration will not be allowed. Please be honest and do your best when completing the Online Assessment.

1What is the difference between the Axiata Internship Programme (AIP) and other internship programmes offered by other companies?

Unlike other internship programmes, AIP is focused on developing university students into highly skilled talents especially for the telecommunications and digital industry through its unique approach through its competency framework.

2Can interns choose their placements?

Yes, request can be done during the application. However, it depends on the headcount availability of the departments/opcos for internship placement.
